New Cards for Kids Offerings

We are pleased to publish five new e-cards for the younger set among God's children, offering some illustrated lessons from Proverbs and encouragement that God is their Father, with them always. These can be found in the Cards for Kids section on our menu under Send e-Cards.

New Cards With Music!

One of the great benefits of e-Cards over physical cards is that they can be enhanced with a music track or an embedded video. Cards of Ministry has offered these special e-Cards almost from our start, and this month brings three new cards with accompanying music. Two are based on classic hymns re-imagined with a modern take and one is a new Cards of Ministry original song.

For January, these will reside in the New This Month! e-Card gallery. Samples of the card covers for these new music cards are shown below, followed by a brief history and story behind each song.

Jesus, I Come (Out of my bondage, sorrow, and night)

Penned by William T. Sleeper in 1887, Jesus I Come is steeped with the spiritual and emotional depths and heights of believers before they knew Jesus, and after He has washed, transformed and made them a new creation. This remake strives for the intimacy of a performance of special music by a small ensemble at church, and is a song and card that every follower of Christ can find some of their own story in. Here is part of one verse with three of the innumerable glorious changes possible with Jesus:

Out of my shameful failure and loss;
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross.
Out of earth’s sorrows into Thy balm,
Out of life’s storms and into Thy calm

It is a hymn that will tug at, and comfort, the heart of anyone who has tasted the love of our Savior.

Teaser! Also in the works is a music video version of this song with artwork to illustrate many of the transformations covered in the lyrics, some from Bible stories and others from more modern times. We cannot  predict a delivery date, but as an appetizer, here are a couple of frames on the in-progress storyboard for this video e-Card production:

All Creatures of Our God and King

Francis of Assisi crafted this call to praise in the 13th century, and William H. Draper translated/paraphrased it circa 1905. Our reimagined version features dynamic solos and choral accompaniment in a song we hope senders and recipients will find inspiring, and one they can join in singing to give our God and Savior praise, thanksgiving and glory. Hallelujah!

Sanctuary

A Cards of Ministry original with a simple folk style, again reminiscent of a small ensemble special music offering at church. Since being with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God has always wanted to dwell with His people. For example, He told Moses, "And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them." in Exodus 25:8. The Holy Spirit now dwells in those who are His, and many are His promises of dwelling with us forever, for example, Revelation 21:1-4! Sanctuary sings of one lost before Jesus, then redeemed by His blood, living with Him inside, and now longing and praying for their faith in Jesus' return and eternal dwelling to come to glorious fruition. Lyrics by Stephen Enger.

New Antiquities

A small selection of preserved cards of old has been added this month, scanned with some post-scan work to try to fix blemishes or sharpen details when possible and not intrusive on the original. The will be in the New This Month! e-Card gallery for January, then after 2/1/2026, will be in the Antiquities e-Card section.

Additional New Cards for January

Rounding out the new free e-Card designs for January 2026 are the five offerings below. They celebrate the angels heralding Jesus' birth to humble shepherds, Jesus making us new creations, promises and praise from Psalms, and believers encouraging believers in a broken world.

We hope you will find some new cards to share God and His word with others and pray you and your recipients are blessed by them. If you have ideas or requests for possible new e-Cards, please use our contact page to send them along and we will humbly try to make the request into a new e-Card one day.

Thank you for reading! May the Lord bless and keep you in the coming year and always. God willing, 'see' you next month with more new e-Cards.
